Walking on my first day of school, I thought it would be just another regular English class. At first, I thought you were going to say that in the next upcoming days we were going for our textbook. But then you started talking about how we can choose how we want to learn. Then you walked out of the class to let choose and thought you were not being truthful about us being able to choose. I why I didn't trust it was because it was the first day of school. From the person, I was the first day of school and the person I have become is really different. One skill that I have really improved on was my work ethic because am really a lazy person. But when I say I am going to do something that means that am going to do it. One of my blogs that really show me putting a lot of effort was called MY ESSAY ESSAY. This shows how I manage to finish two essays two days apart from each other. What I did over the 1 week off was to forget about school work and relax my mind from school. So basically I didn't do none of my work from my other classes. I just wanted to enjoy my time by sleeping in and just enjoying my time with my family. So for that whole week I forgot about school. That's how my week went, I could say it was fun.

What I like was that he made point about that if you have an idea and later on you get an even better you should not stay with the old one because you just made the first one better.  A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little mind. To be great is to be misunderstood.

Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of your own mind.  How being good and acting good they both got a very different definition which one is good and other is bad. How dr Preston made a example of the guy with the 10 million business and what he did to look good but he still didn't help the community in need. For nonconformity the world whips you with its displane.

what I got from the story is to trust yourself. That no matter what happens or people around you are always gonna succeed in whatever you tryna do. The sentence was it says that God would not have his work  manifest by a coward.  What that means to me is if he doesn't see you put in the effort  he's not gonna waste his time on you.   I like he talks about the voice you have in your head when your by yourself and it slowly goes away. >

Our acts our angels are, or good or ill. To believe your own thought, to believe that what is true for you in your private heart is true for all men, -- that is genius. Also, I like how the author makes the point that there is a lot of time people have questions abut are sacred to ask because they could be judged. I like how he didn't get to the point but how he used words to make get the point. I could relate to a lot of things he talked about.
