LET ME WALK YOU THROUGH THE PEDESTRIAN
Bradbury's experience was really lonely and was not the best for a human. He must've felt really sad because people were not talking to each other no more. Also how technology was becoming a big problem in how people act these days. Robots are taking jobs and being used like regular people with authority like the police car that stopped him with no one in it. Also how the setting was really scary and serious for Bradbury because the whole story he was basically by himself with no humans around him. The whole story was really tuff for him but that was all the anger he had and decided to write a story to get somewhat even with the police department.
What Bradbury makes you feel is that in the future people are gonna be really lonely due to technology. This is due to the beginning of the story its starts with Bradbury being outside on a November night. It was nice misty, with no other person to be seen outside. Also, you really get the feeling of loneliness when walking for hours and only see lights flashing in people's houses. Bradbury is probably trying to say that people are becoming technology slaves over the years. finally when he gets stopped by the cop car with no one in it, but yet he still has to listen to a robot and gets arrested just for going for a walk around his block. This is basically the tone of the whole story because he didn't get stopped by a human but by a robot. This is a really sad tone because it's sad how we just let technology take over our life.
Throughout the story, the character doesn't really change. The only time he really changes is when he is removed from society. This is because Leanardo was the only character and he didn't really have time to change because there wasn't really a real conflict that is going to change the story. The police car was another character that later joined the story. The way he entered the story was the same way he was at the end of the story. The police car was really rude and the robot thought that he runs the city. This changed Leanardo because he was already lonely and the only person that still tries to live a normal life. He was basically not trying to give in to technology and become another slave.
The plot really gives us a glance into the future. This is why Leonardo is the person that walks out every day. The city is really empty by 8 o clock and it makes it feel like its death valley. Whenever Leonardo goes for a walk in the city he weres some sneakers so that he doesn't wake up the dogs around the block. When the cop car shows up in the plot he stops Leonardo and asks some useless questions to probably kill his time. Probably the plot of how the story showed how technology can really change humanity. The whole was really lonely doesn't really show what is going besides the cop car that is going around.
Bradbury's experience in the city was not the best for a human. The tone of the story really stayed the same until he got stopped. It seemed like when he got stopped that was really the turning point in the story. The tone went from lonely to anger all because he got stopped by a cop car with no one in it. The message of the story to me is that if we let technology take over we are gonna have a really lonely society. Finally, The story shows how technology turned people into slaves without them knowing.
